Mental Health Check-In
Mental Health Support Group
In cultivating an open dialogue, this support group aims to provide students with a supportive environment to explore any personal experiences or emotions that they are confronting. Each week begins with a “check-in” with how their week has been going; covering positives, concerns or “issues” that they would like to address.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Skills Group
Problematic Substance and Process Use
This workshop supports students in understanding the connection between addiction and mental health. It engages them in an active discussion about process and substance use. We provide students with key information, local services, tools and strategies. Students will explore ways to seek the support they need in preventing substance abuse and reducing harms associated with overuse.
